We must through many tribulations enter the kingdom of God. —Acts 14:22
oh wells, i guess its true. it always go back PJ or any other church leader's pet phrase. God never promised us a bed of roses, but He promised to go through life with us. i guess that's enough, if you're not having a bad time. hahaha but when you're going through deep shit, seriously, it sucks to hear that as an encouragement right. i totally can understand how you feel. BUT, ITS THE TRUTH DUDE/BABE/SIS/BRO/DAD/MOM LOL
the first time, you may resent or okay dislike the thought, but Jesus brought you through. the second time, you stumble at another problem, this time you'll be like, "okok, Jesus never promised us a bed of roses.............................." so you grit your teeth and muster all of your faith and courage to trust in God and what He has in store. the third time, the sentence lengthens :D "Jesus never promised us a bed of roses, but He promised to go through life with us :(" soo you grit your teeth harder this time and you trust in God even more because He brought you through the first 2 problems. then finally there will this thing in you that whenever you faces something, you would say.........................
Jesus never promised us a bed of roses, but He promised to go through life with us :)
i guess, all of us will always go through this process unless and until we reach heavens. (or u backslide lar) its justa matter of time, and a matter of willingness to accept that God is a loving and just God. sometimes i find it hard to accept too. i shall not tell you what stage im at. LOL LEST YOU JUDGE ME. LOL. yah lar, but this is something that keeps me going for most of the time. i hope it does for you too. chant it a million times to God, God hears your cry :) you'll probably wake up the next morning and find your problems all gone. hahaha and yes God hears my cry, but He wants me to bathe. )(&(^%#$@#@#$@ LOVING AND JUST GOD. AMEN. AND AMEN :( OFF TO BATHE!!!
